FRI-SUN 01/21/11 - 01/23/11

Friday~
We celebrated Huh?'s Birthday!
All of the Vixens, Wilson, Glenn, Bill, and Cheryl met up at Bowlmor Lanes in Cupertino. Now this place used to be called Strike, but I guess they are under a new management company or something. Well as far as the food is concerned they should have left the Strike menu. The food was just o.k., the portions were smaller, and the price was higher. Glen & Bill ordered popcorn shrimp, and it was literally popcorn with a few shrimp sprinkled in ~wtf?

On the bright side bowling was a lot of fun! You could tell it had been a long time since most of us had done any bowling. The funniest thing was that One Time had to meet us a bit late so we took turns bowling her turn until she got there, and she beat everyone on our lane, lol. Next stop Shooters Bar&Grill in Sunnyvale to have a cocktail and meet up with the Street Assassinz MC. Shooters was cool as always, but we didn't stay long. Next stop, where else but the Brass Rail? I was only 1/2 way in the door when one of our favorite girls yelled at me to give her a Vixen Tattoo so she could show her support while entertaining the gentlemen there.
It's never a dull moment at the rail. We saw some people we know, got Huh? her birthday lap dance, and messed with our favorite DJ. After the Rail we hopped across the bridge to Denny's for some late night/ early morning grub. The ride home was cold, but not too long. I hope Huh enjoyed her night :-)

Saturday~

Saturday was what I like to call a "marathon" day/night.
Even though it was going to be a marathon day it didn't start out too early. we didn't have to be at our first stop until 1:00pm.

Stop #1 Rocs, Doubleshot, One Time, Lorraine, and myself (Pockets) headed out to The Florence in Niles for the Oakland Stroke MC Party. First of all let me tell you that the weather was fricken beautiful!!! When we arrived at The Flo there was a good amount of bikes parked outside. When went in and immediately found our girl Momma from the She Devils MC. She had already set aside a table for us :-) We said hi to everyone and thanked Jamie for the invite. The band fired up and was really good. Lunch was served almos immediately after we got there. There was very good bbq chicken, pasta, salad, and garlic bread. Each plate came with 1/2 a fricken chicken!!! The President of the Oakland Stroke had warned us that it was a lot of food, and he had suggested we share, so that's what we did and we still had food left over, lol. When it was time to leave we were getting ready to take off and Fremont PD rolls by at a snails pace. They were looking for non-dot helmets hanging on bikes, i guess so they could pull people over as they left. They actually stopped in front of bikes and pointed, nothing better to f'in do, seriously.

Stop #2 Hells Angels Nomads Crab feed in Stockton. So our same group continued on to Stockton. We had no trouble finding the Fairgrounds where the crab feed was being held, but we did have a little trouble figuring out where in the fairgrounds it was. The funny thing is that we had some others following us around the parking lot, I guess we "looked" like we knew where we were going, lol. Finally some people who really did know where they were going came in and we all follwed them to the right area. This event was a lot of fun! First we made our way around the huge hall and said hi to a lot of friends. Some we had just seen in fremont, others we hadn't seen for months. I would give them all a shout out here, but if I were to forget to mention someone I would feel like an asshole. You all know who you are ;-) Again Momma and the She Devils hooked us up with spots at their reserved table. They also had all of the accessories needed for a good crab feed. The foccacia was off the hook! There was wine on the tables and we were served salad, bread, pasta, and then the crab. Yum I have never eaten so much crab in my life! Feeling like a roly-poly it was time to get back on the road and return to San Jose.
We were worried early on in the day that the ride home from stockton would be foggy and cold. It wasn't :-), it was actually quite pleasant. A little cold at first, but by the time we got to the top of the Altamont it had warmed up significantly.
Nothing like the ride home from sac 2 weeks ago.

Stop #3 Top Hatters MC South Valley. Before we headed to the Top Hatters we dropped off Lorraine and Picked up Catchup. We then headed over to their clubhouse for a casual get together of some of the local clubs. They make a mean Jaegar Bomb! We had fun as always listening to some tunes and bullshitting with the guys. We didn't stay long because we still had 1 more stop to make...

Stop #4 Ghost Mountain Riders MC San Jose. When we headed off to the Ghosties clubhouse Rocs went home and the rest of us soldier'd on! The Ghosties had a Birthday Party going on. So we chilled at the party for awhile, had a cocktail and a cupcake. The cupcakes were very good :-)
We arrived at the Ghosties at 11:58pm. So we made it to 4 events in 1 day. Yep I would definitely call that a Marathon!

Sunday~

Sunday was another beautiful day so Catchup, Trish, Motorcycle Boy, and Me decided to take a little ride. I say little because by the time I got out of bed (12:30) and got dressed (2pm) it was kinda late to go to far on a work night. We did one of my favorite local rides and headed down Almaden Expressway, past Calero, and stopped at Uvas to enjoy the afternoon sun and people watch. After our pit stop we continued to Watsonville road, then into Morgan Hill for a late lunch. After Lunch we headed back home via Monterey Rd. Like I said it was a short ride, but it felt good to be on the bike just to ride.
